CCHS girls, Northampton boys earn wins in Don Hunt Challenge

The Central Catholic girls and Northampton boys were among the winners in the annual Don Hunt Memorial on Saturday.

Central Catholic preserved its undefeated record with a 3-1 win over the 9-1 Parkland Trojans in a matchup between the LVC's top girls teams.

The Vikettes scored three goals in the first half then held on down the stretch.

Northampton maintained a share of the LVC boys lead, improving to 9-1 on the season with a 2-0 win over Liberty.

The annual Don Hunt Memorial Classic featured 10 different LVC games on Saturday at three different sites - Emmaus, Nazareth, and Whitehall.
