CCHS reaches PIAA Quarterfinals

Vikings moving on to the PIAA Quarterfinals

Central Catholic's boys have advanced to the state quarterfinals with a resounding win over Bishop McDevitt. After trailing by 9 in the first half, the Vikings went on a 33-6 run to take control and eventually put the game away early in the second half. Brendan Wagner was a key in the first half, he finished with 21 points and set the tone with some big early dunks.
Muhammad Ali Abdur Rahkman added 25, many of those coming in the second half as the Vikings advanced 82-55. They'll meet Neumann Goretti in the quarterfinal round on Friday.
