Chikotas hoping to add more gold in Shippensburg

Chikotas hoping to add more gold in Shippensburg

In the fall, Saucon Valley's Liz Chikotas was 27 seconds faster than anyone in the state on the cross country course. Chikotas won a state individual championship, and Panther track fans now have shirts that say "Run Like Liz" on the back. Liz Chikotas is hoping other runners are looking at her back again tomorrow and Saturday. Chikotas goes to Shippensburg as a favorite to win the 1600 meter gold and the 3200 meter gold, plus she'll anchor the Saucon Valley relay team in the 4 x 800. As a state champion already this year she has a unique opportunity to add to her collection of gold medals, and she's not shy about telling you that's definitely the goal over the next two days.
