Division leaders earn wins in girls basketball

Three division leaders earned big wins Tuesday night in girls basketball, led by LVC unbeaten Becahi.

The Golden Hawks beat Parkland by 16 points, 55-39 behind another strong effort from Kalista Walters who had 17 points.  Bridget Smith added 17 of her own in the win.

The Central Catholic girls won at home, beating Nazareth 40-35 at Rockne Hall.  Alyssa Mack paced the Vikettes with 12 points to keep them at the top of their division in the LVC.

Northwestern's girls won at home as well, beating the other Colonial League division leader, Notre Dame.  The Tigers got 17 points from Sarah Jones in the 54-44 victory.
