Fun for kids at Nockamixon Park

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - Just because it is cold outside, it does not mean you can't have fun outdoors.

To that end, the Nockamixon State Park has a series of fun activities planned for 3 to 5-year-olds.

The young'uns are invited to come out with their favorite adult for a day or days of fun at the park.

For these fun interactive programs, children between the ages of 3 and 5 bring their favorite adult for nature exploration in the park.

Each session will involve time outdoors, crafts, stories and fun.

Planned activities include:

-Snow Spectacular on January 28 at 10:00 am and January 31 at 1:15 pm

-Rocks Rock on February 4 at 10:00 am and February 7 at 1:15 pm

-Owls exploration on February 11 at 10:00 am and February 14 at 1:15 pm.

To participate, all you need to do is sign up for one or all three activities.

Pre-registration is required as high demand is anticipated, so, space is limited.

You can call 215-529-7307 to sign up and more information can also be found on the parks website at
