Higher seeds prevail in BCIAA girls quarterfinals

The higher seeds held serve on Saturday in the opening round of the BCIAA girls playoffs.

Top-seeded Wilson WL beat No. 8 Tulpehocken 53-28, while No. Fleetwood earned a 54-43 win over No. 7 Governor Mifflin.

No. 3 Oley Valley avenged a regular season loss to No. 6 Muhlenberg, beating the Muhls, 38-24.

No. 4 Berks Catholic beat No. 5 Conrad Weiser for the third time this year, 49-45.

Berks Catholic will face Wilson, and Oley Valley will face Fleetwood in next week's semifinal round.
