HS RUNDOWN: Dieruff earns first win; Quakertown stays perfect

Dieruff uses big plays to earn first win

Dieruff earned its first win of the season on Saturday, beating Wallenpaupack 34-21 at J. Birney Crum Stadium.

The win was the first for Dieruff against a team other than Allen since opening week of the 2008 season.

Shakur Lester had a pair of 80-yard touchdowns to lead the Huskies' big play attack.

In the PAC-10, Boyertown suffered its first loss of the season, falling 48-10 at Methacton.

Elsewhere in District One, Quakertown moved to 3-0 with a 28-14 home win over Cheltenham.

North Penn dropped to 0-3 with a 35-6 loss at St. Joe's Prep.
