HS RUNDOWN: Nazareth beats Becahi; So. Lehigh, Pennridge win

Nazareth knocked off Bethlehem Catholic Saturday night while Southern Lehigh and Muhlenberg each improved to 6-1.

Nazareth, buoyed by the return of suspended running back Jordan Gray, built a 21-0 halftime lead then coasted to a 28-14 win at Becahi.

The Blue Eagles and Golden Hawks are both 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the LVC.

In the Colonial League, Southern Lehigh improved to 6-1 with a 59-6 win at winless Wilson.

In the Berks Conference, Muhlenberg shut out Exeter 20-0 in a battle of one-loss teams.

Elsewhere in Berks, Blue Mountain earned a 31-28 win at Schuylkill Valley.

In the Suburban One Conference, Pennridge improved to 5-2 with a 24-13 win at CB South.

Council Rock North, CB East, and Springfield-Montco also picked up wins in District One on Saturday.
