HS RUNDOWN: Wyomissing wins PIAA state boys tennis title

A number of high school teams within the 69 Sports coverage area brought home championships on Saturday, headlined by the Wyomissing boys tennis team capturing the PIAA 2A state title.

The Spartans beat Sewickley Academy 3-2 to earn state gold.

Elsewhere, Freedom's Andrew Sinai won the LVC No. 1 singles championship.

The Schuylkill Valley boys track and field team captured the District 3 2A championship.
