LVC and MVC announce new 18-team EPC

We finally know the name of the new conference that has been formed by the LVC and MVC. It will be the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference.

The new league talked logistics today for the first time.  There will be 18 teams and in most team sports those teams will be split into 3 divisions of 6 teams each.  In football, there will be 2 divisions of 9 teams each with teams playing two crossover games within the league each season.

One change is the playoff format and with three divisions the playoffs will expand to include 8 teams.  3 division champs and 5 wild card teams.
