Mike Pettine, Jr. named Cleveland Browns head coach

Pettine earns first NFL head coaching job

The Cleveland Browns have hired their next head coach, and it's former North Penn head coach Mike Pettine, Jr.  Pettine leaves his post as Defensive Coordinator in Buffalo to take over in Cleveland.

Pettine was the North Penn head coach from 1997-2001, leading the Knights some very good seasons, his best in 1999.  Now, he has his first NFL head coaching job.

Pettine has been working in the NFL since leaving North Penn, he has worked with the Ravens, the Jets, and the Bills.
