Muhlenberg boys use big first half to top Twin Valley

Muhlenberg races out to early lead and downs Twin Valley

ELVERSON, Pa. - The regular season is drawing to an end and teams that are hovering near the .500 mark need wins to make a playoff push.

Count Muhlenberg's boys in the mix.  If the Muhls can string together some wins they can be in the hunt.

The Muhls (2-4, 8-9) were at Twin Valley (2-4, 3-14) Tuesday night trying to get to within one game of that .500 mark.

Muhlenberg handled its business, knocking off the Raiders 56-38. The Muhls led by 18 points at halftime and never looked back.

Nelson Hine paced Muhlenberg with 18 points. Trystan Ovid pitched in 12.

Both teams return to action Thursday night. Muhlenberg visits Wilson. Twin Valley hosts Hamburg.
