Northern Lehigh tops Pen Argyl in season opener

Austin Lancsak was Johnny on the spot, and it earned Northern Lehigh a season-opening win.

Lanscak recovered a fumble in the end zone to break a 14-14 tie and earn the Bulldogs a 21-14 win at Pen Argyl on Saturday.

Northern Lehigh, which had a rare sub-.500 season last year, is off to a 1-0 start with the win.

Pen Argyl, which was a District 11 2A playoff team a year ago, falls to 0-1.
