Palisades forfeits to Becahi, Bulldogs beat Catty

The Palisades wrestlers stole the headlines Thursday night by forfeiting their District 11 quarterfinal dual with Becahi. All of it. All 14 bouts.   Palisades had won a first round dual over Jim Thorpe just minutes before they were supposed to wrestle Becahi in the quarterfinal round.  Despite the forfeit, Palisades is in the wrestle back portion of the team tournament and that means they are scheduled to wrestle Saturday morning against Catasauqua.

The Rough Riders lost to Northern Lehigh in the other quarterfinal, the Bulldogs earning a 39-31 victory.   Catty's Zack Bradley earned his 100th career victory in the Catty loss.
