Parkland and Whitehall preparing for a showdown

Parkland and Whitehall preparing for a showdown

In almost every week of the football season's 4 weeks, the Parkland football team has had a very big game. This week's big one is against arch-rival Whitehall who brings an undefeated record to Parkland Stadium on Friday night. If Parkland hopes to win another LVC title, or share it again this fall, this is a game they have to win. They already have one loss to Easton and another would all but eliminate them from title contention unless they got a lot of help from other teams. So, Friday they hope to take care of the Zephyrs and keep themselves in title contention with a win.

For Whitehall, Friday presents an opportunity. Not only to stay undefeated this season, but to keep themselves on the path to the postseason and an LVC championship. It's not an easy road, and that's especially true this week because they are facing a team that is talented, fast, and a team that knows them and their personnel quite well because these kids have known each other their entire lives.
