Parkland beats Whitehall to seize division lead

Parkland blanks Whitehall to seize division lead

Parkland took over sole possession of the LVC North Division lead on Saturday, shutting out Whitehall 4-0 at Coca-Cola Park.

The game was the marquee matchup of the LVC's annual Play Day event, and also a rematch of last year's District 11 4A Championship game, which was also won by Parkland at Coca-Cola Park.

Gabe Mosser pitched a complete game shutout for the Trojans, striking out 10 along the way.

Chris Rabasco went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to pace the Parkland offense.

Both teams were tied at 8-2 at the top of the LVC North Division heading into the matchup.
