Parkland boys lose, Becahi girls move on

The Becahi girls joined the Notre Dame girls in the state quarterfinals with a win Wednesday night. The Parkland boys weren't as fortunate, falling to Great Valley by 3 points.

Becahi's girls dominated the 4th quarter against Honesdale to earn a 56-42 win that puts them into the state quarterfinals on Saturday.

Parkland fell to Great Valley 64-61.  The Trojans erased a 15-point second half deficit to pull within 1 point in the final minutes but could never take the lead.  The loss ends their season in the second round of the PIAA Tournament.
