Parkland falls in PIAA Softball semifinals

The Parkland softball team saw its season end on Monday afternoon, falling to Lower Dauphin in extra innings 8-7.

Parkland led 7-0 in their semifinal game and after back to back shutouts in the first two rounds the Trojans looked like they were on their way to the final round.  But Lower Dauphin rallied to score 7 runs to tie the game and send it to extra innings.  A bases loaded bunt in the 8th brought home the final run and their comeback was complete as they beat Parkland 8-7 ending the Trojans' season.
