Pen Argyl ready for state playoff showdown with Susquenita

After earning a come-from-behind, walk-off win in its state playoff opener Monday night, Pen Argyl is now gearing up for a PIAA quarterfinal clash on Thursday.

The Green Knights will face District 3 2A champion Susquenita on Thursday for the right to advance to the PIAA semifinal round.

Pen Argyl fell behind St. Basil's Academy 2-0 in the first round on Monday, but rallied to earn a 3-2 win.

(20-5) Pen Argyl and (21-2) Susquenita will meet on Thursday at 4pm at Lyons Field in Fleetwood.
