Vikettes and Becahi set up rematch, Easton boys fall

The Central Catholic and Becahi girls will play again, this time for a District 11 championship after both won semifinal games on Thursday night.

Becahi beat Southern Lehigh in the first semifinal game, 57-39.  Kalista Walters led the Golden Hawks who now get a third game with their rivals this season and a second championship game.

Central Catholic was barely challenged by Jim Thorpe in the other semifinal, giving up only one field goal and 5 total points in the first half on their way to a 45-28 win.

Easton's boys gave Pocono Mountain West a game in the AAAA boys semifinals.  The Rovers lost 50-42 but were in the game to the final buzzer.  The Panthers will meet Parkland in the championship game Saturday.
