Fleetwood handed Schuylkill Valley its first loss Saturday night, while East Stroudsburg South edged Pocono Mountain East in an emotionally charged game.

Fleetwood routed previously unbeaten Schuylkill Valley 31-7, taking sole possession of first place in Berks II.

East Stroudsburg South came from behind and scored with under a minute left to beat Pocono Mountain East, 32-28.

The game was played against an emotional backdrop, with several Pocono Mountain East players still in critical condition after a car accident earlier this week.

Pius X beat Towanda 34-7 at Alumni Field, improving to 2-3 on the season.

Nick Brotzman went 15-of-17 for 202 yards and two touchdowns for the Royals.

Eric Marbury had a 56-yard interception return for a touchdown, and also had a touchdown run.
