The Lehigh Valley IronPigs unveiled a brand-new app for iPhone and Android devices to enhance the fan experience at Coca-Cola Park in 2014.

For a limited time, “MiLB Inside the Park” is a free download in both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.

“This is our best app ever, plain and simple,” said IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. “Now we can satisfy the hunger of a growing segment of our fan base that consumes information on a constant and evolving basis.”

Officials with the IronPigs say this new app has been built specifically for Minor League Baseball and will greatly enhance the IronPigs’ game experience. “MiLB Inside the Park” will provide an inning-by-inning feed of all contests, ballpark events, available coupons and general information at Coca-Cola Park. Fans can also use the app to explore the interactive Coca-Cola Park map, access the IronPigs’ 2014 season schedule and promotions calendar, as well as purchase tickets directly from their mobile phone.

“MiLB Inside the Park” allows IronPigs fans to participate in IronPigs trivia, vote on who they think will win the Pork race and sign up to participate in a number of on-field contests. App users also have the chance to earn special rewards and coupons that can be redeemed directly from their mobile device.

Fans’ social interaction is a focal point of the “MiLB Inside the Park App” as users will be able to share photos, stories, or comments and upload them directly from the app to their favorite social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
