Hamburg quarterback Joe Cominsky will not play against Fleetwood on Friday night. He has already served the mandatory one-game PIAA suspension for his actions in the fight with Annville-Cleona on September 6th.
A school official told 69 news about the decision Tuesday evening. They would not go into more detail as to why he'll miss this game because it is a "student discipline issue."
The South Anville Township Police are already investigating the original footage of the Annville-Cleona game in which Cominsky strikes another player with a helmet.
But new footage has since surfaced, showing Cominsky apparently throwing footballs at another player's chest in the presence of head coach Joe Sinkovich.
The Berks County District Attorney is investigating that video as well.
The Hamburg School District put out a press release saying consequences have been given out. It also says that certain material is confidential due to its relation to students and staff.
The story comes at a tough time for the Hawks. The team is 3-0 and Friday's game at home will be the Berks League opener for both teams.
