Kapp's big shot lifts Boyertown to...

Abby Kapp's jumper with just :01 left has lifted the Boyertown girls to their first ever appearance in the PIAA state championship game.

Kapp hit a 17-footer from the top of the key to give the Bears a 39-37 win over Cardinal O'Hara Monday night in the 6A semifinal at Spring-Ford High School.

Kapp, who scored 15 points, also made a game-winner in the final seconds to beat Northampton on Saturday in the state quarterfinal round.
