Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly completed his final round of radiation Wednesday after nearly two months of treatments for sinus cancer.

His wife, Jill, shared the moment with an Instagram photo. She also took to Twitter to express her thanks:

"At 1pm today! Last Radiation. IT IS FINISHED! GLORY TO GOD!!!! DONE! THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!"

Kelly completed his final chemotherapy treatment last week. After beginning his treatments outside New York City in April, Kelly returned home to Buffalo for Easter and has remained in the area.

Kelly walked out of the hospital Wednesday and was greeted by cheering friends and family.

"Thank you guys," an emotional Kelly said, according to Bills.com. "I know I could not have done this without family and friends and you guys have been here since day one. I have a long way to go, but I know with you people on my team I'll be here for many, many more years and many more parties and gatherings, so thank you."
