KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Kutztown women's basketball has a huge game with Millersville on Saturday as far as playoff seeding is concerned. A freshman has played a huge role in getting them to this point.
Game one, Sierra Taylor stepped on the court for the Golden Bears, and the freshman scored 15 points.
It was just the starting point.
She's averaging close to 12 points per game and has been named PSAC East Freshman of the Week four times.
The talented point guard from Williamstown, New Jersey has seen a lot of minutes this year and its how she's transformed that's been the difference.
Stylistically, she's just as likely to shoot as she is to pass, to take the three, or attack the lane.
With three games left, nothing is set in stone. But the Golden bears have grown alongside their point guard.
WFMZ's Sam Marcinek has the story in the video above.
