BERKS COUNTY -

The Kutztown and Albright football teams are both coming off tough losses at home. The Golden Bears and Lions can rebound with victories on the road this weekend.

KU (0-3) heads to West Chester, where they will meet the #19 Golden Rams. The Golden Bears are coming off a loss in their home opener to #13 Bloomsburg.

Kutztown was competitive for three quarters of that game, but the Huskies pulled away late thanks to a series of big plays. Avoiding those big plays has been the focus at University Field all week.

Albright (1-2) will travel up to Wilkes-Barre for a meeting with King's. The Lions are trying to rebound from a 20-17 loss in the Pretzel Bowl to Delaware Valley, who won on a field goal as time expired.

The Lions have been focusing on consistency this week at practice as they look to turn in a complete game. Albright had chances to close out Del Val but they could not finish.
