Kutztown boys settle for silver out in Hershey
HERSHEY, Pa. - The top-seeded Kutztown boys came in eyeing their first district title since 1963.
But No. 3 Trinity spoiled their trip to the Giant Center in Hershey Wednesday, 53-43, in the District 3-3A championship game.
The Shamrocks blitzed the Cougars early, jumping out to a 20-6 advantage after one quarter.
It was too big a hole for Kutztown to dig out of.
Kutztown's magical season is not over. They will be in the state tournament.
