EASTON, Pa. -

The Blue Hens of Delaware came into Fisher Stadium Saturday and spoiled Lafayette's home opener. The Leopards head on the road to Princeton this weekend, looking to do the same to the Tigers.

Reminicent of last year, Lafayette's only points against Delaware Saturday night came off the foot of Jacob Bissell. The Pards just couldn’t get anything going on offense. Drew Reed was 14 of 31 for just 111 yards with two interceptions. Still, Lafayette held a 6-3 lead until under a minute left in the third, then the Blue Hens would score 21 unanswered points to drop the Pards to 1-1 with the 24-6 setback.

Saturday, Lafayette travels to Princeton for the Tigers' season opener. Princeton went just 5-5 a year ago, but crushed the Pards 40-7 at Fisher Stadium and they've have won the last eight meetings between the two teams.

WFMZ's Dave Lesko has more on the matchup.
