In New Jersey, Lafayette took on an Ivy League school as they visited Princeton. The Tigers beat the Pards 40-7 last year at Fisher Stadium and won the last eight meetings between the two teams. This one a little closer Saturday night.
Drew Reed threw for 356 yards and three touchdowns, but was picked off twice. The Leopards pulled to within four points with 5:27 left in the game, but they couldn't get the ball back. Princeton holds on for the 35-31 victory. Lafayette drops to 1-2 on the season, and hosts Villanova next week.
