Lehigh wrestling grabs EIWA title

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Lehigh wrestling crowns five individual champions on its way to winning the overall team title at the 2018 EIWA championships at Hofstra's Mack Sports Complex on Sunday. The team title is the 35th for the Mountain Hawks in program history. Five individuals walking away with EIWA titles is the most since 2003.

Cornell finished second in the team competition, just 18.5 points behind Lehigh.

Darian Cruz, Scott Parker, Jordan Kutler, Ryan Preisch, and Jordan Wood won individual titles.

All told, nine Mountain Hawks punched their automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in Cleveland later this month.
