Liberty wrestlers hungry for District 11 success

Liberty gearing up for District 11...

BETHLEHEM - The District 11 wrestling tournaments begin Thursday night. The Liberty Hurricanes enter the 3A fray as the 6-seed, where they'll meet Parkland in the first round.

Liberty, does have the advantage of wrestling inside Memorial Gym.

The 'Canes are a hungry bunch, hoping to down the Trojans and earn a shot at Northampton in the quarterfinals.

Liberty has not defeated Parkland since 2005. The Hurricanes, looking to defeat Easton, Northampton and Parkland in the same season.

Liberty vs. Parkland starts at 6:00 Thursday night.
