Mifflin advances to District 3 final; High Point claims 1st title

Mifflin advances to District 3-6A final

EPHRATA, Pa. - The top-seeded Governor Mifflin baseball team advanced to the District 3-6A championship game with a 4-2 win over (4) Warwick on Wednesday in Ephrata. High Point, the top-seed in the Class A field, won their first district crown as well.

Isaac Ruoss knocked in a pair of runs for the Mustangs.

Noah Weber and Noah Angstadt limited Warwick to just six hits on the mound.

Mifflin will meet (2) Dallastown Thursday night at 7:00 for the 6A championship at FirstEnergy Stadium. The 'Stangs have also qualified for the state tournament.

High Point blanked (2) Millersburg, 1-0, in the Class A final at Wenger Field in Fredericksburg.
