Cloyd pitches IronPigs past Rochester

Tyler Cloyd pitched seven strong innings Saturday night, leading the IronPigs to a 5-1 win at Scranton Wilkes-Barre.

The game was the first of a season-long 10-game road trip for the IronPigs.

Freddy Galvis and Tyson Gillies each homered to pace the 'Pigs' offense.

Cloyd (4-8, 5.42) scattered six hits and allowed just one run while striking out seven in the win.

The IronPigs (58-57) will continue their series with the RailRiders on Sunday at 1:05pm.
