IronPigs close out first half with loss in Syracuse

The IronPigs closed out their pre-All-Star break schedule with a 2-1 loss in Syracuse.

The 'Pigs have now lost three straight, including both games against the Chiefs over the weekend.

The IronPigs took the lead on a Leandro Castro RBI single in the sixth inning.

But the Chiefs tied it in the bottom of the sixth, then won it with a run in the eighth.

B.J. Rosenberg (2-6, 4.95) took the loss in relief for the 'Pigs.

The IronPigs (50-48) enter the All-Star break 3 1/2 games behind Pawtucket for first place in the International League North Division.
