IronPigs cruise past RailRiders, 9-4

The IronPigs offense carried the load on Sunday in a 9-4 win at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The 'Pigs pounded out 15 hits to earn their second win in the four-game series.

Koyie Hill went 4-for-5 with two RBIs for the 'Pigs, while top prospect Maikel Franco went 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

Cesar Jimenez (1-0, 0.77) allowed just one hit in five shutout innings in his first game with the IronPigs this season.

The IronPigs (7-10) will wrap up their series with the RailRiders on Monday at 6:35pm at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
