IronPigs drop series opener in Indianapolis

After a 16-inning marathon win, followed by a marathon road trip to Indianapolis, the IronPigs dropped their series opener to the Indians 4-0 Sunday night.

The 'Pigs played the game after winning their series finale at Rochester in 16 innings Saturday night, then driving through the night into the morning to get to Indianapolis.

Brad Lincoln (4-4, 4.11) took the loss on the mound for the 'Pigs.

The IronPigs managed just five hits on the night, four of them singles.

The IronPigs (43-46) will play game two of their four-game series in Indianapolis on Monday night at 7:05pm.
