IronPigs fall in Syracuse, 4-3

The IronPigs suffered their fourth straight loss on Tuesday, dropping their series opener to the Chiefs 4-3 in Syracuse.

Chris Bootcheck (2-4, 4.50) gave up four earned runs in five innings of work to take the loss.

Maikel Franco, Tyler Henson, and Andres Blanco all had two hits and an RBI to pace the 'Pigs offense.

The game was supposed to be a doubleheader, but game two was postponed due to rain.

The IronPigs (38-41) and Chiefs will now play a doubleheader on Wednesday, with game one starting at 6pm in Syracuse.
