IronPigs lose, Ruf leaves with injury

The IronPigs lost to Louisville 6-3 Tuesday night at Coca-Cola Park, and may have lost Darin Ruf after a collision with the left field wall.

Ruf crashed into the wall while trying to catch a foul ball, and laid on the ground for around 30 seconds before being helped up, then helped off the field.

Chris Bootcheck (2-1, 2.37) suffered his first loss on the mound for the IronPigs.

The 'Pigs had 11 hits, but went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base.

The IronPigs (30-29) will resume their series with the Bats on Wednesday at 7:05pm at Coca-Cola Park.
