IronPigs winning streak ends with a thud

The IronPigs four-game winning streak came to a resounding end Saturday night in a 14-2 loss to Columbus at Coca-Cola Park.

The Clippers pounded out 14 runs on 20 hits, including a seven-run third inning, to put the game away.

Cam Perkins and Andres Blanco each had an RBI single for the IronPigs.

Barry Enright (3-7, 5.20) gave up eight runs on 11 hits in just four innings of work on the mound.

The IronPigs (38-38) will resume their series with Columbus on Sunday at 1:35pm at Coca-Cola Park.
