Rupp homers again as IronPigs edge Pawtucket

Cameron Rupp hit his third home run in the last four games and the IronPigs picked up a 5-4 win in their series finale at Pawtucket on Sunday.

After falling behind 3-0, the 'Pigs rallied to tie the game at 3-3, and Rupp's two-run homer in the sixth inning provided the winning margin.

Jonathan Pettibone (1-0, 5.40) pitched five innings to get the win.  Luis Garcia picked up the save.

The IronPigs split their opening series with Pawtucket, and take a 2-2 record into Monday's home opener against Buffalo.

That game is scheduled for 5:05pm at Coca-Cola Park.
