Fightin Phils fall in home finale

The Fightin Phils dropped their final home game of the year on Sunday, falling to Erie 5-3 in Baseballtown.

Carlos Alonso had two hits and two RBIs to pace Reading offensively.

Aaron Nola, the Phillies top draft pick, pitched well in five innings of work.  He surrendered just one run on four hits and struck out five.

Austin Wright (2-4, 5.36) suffered the loss in relief.

The Fightin Phils (59-75) will open a series in Portland on Monday at 7pm.
