Fightin Phils to add mammoth video board in center field

Fightin Phils to add new video board in center field

READING, Pa. -  It's been an off-season of change for the Reading Fightins, formerly the R-Phils.  The name change has obviously been the biggest move, and one that sparked some discontent from fans in the off-season. Tuesday there was another big move, but in terms of the size of what they're adding.

A new video board is being added to the scoreboard in center field of FirstEnergy Stadium, a video board that will be the biggest in all of Double-A baseball.

Having a bigger video board means more fun for the fans who can see things like they've never seen before in Baseballtown.

The board will be 30'x60' in high-definition. It will be the fourth largest in all Minor League Baseball.
