Fightin Phils top Portland for first win

The Reading Fightin Phils earned their first win of the season Saturday night, beating Portland 3-2 at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Fightin Phils fell behind 2-0 early on, but Edgar Duran tied the game with a two-run double in the second inning.

Kelly Dugan's RBI single in the seventh provided the winning margin for Reading.

Nefi Ogando pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.  Ken Giles picked up the save.

The Fightin Phils (1-2) will wrap up their series with the Sea Dogs on Sunday at 1:35pm in Baseballtown.
