Fightin Phils win on 9th-inning run

Edgar Duran's RBI single in the 9th inning broke a 4-4 tie and gave the Reading Fightin Phils a 5-4 win at New Britain Saturday night.

Troy Hanzawa went 3-for-4 with four RBIs in the game.  Anthony Hewitt added two hits and two runs scored.

Tyler Knigge (4-3, 4.25) picked up the win in relief, while Kyle Simon earned his 10th save.

Former Reading Phillie Trevor May allowed four runs on six hits and struck out 10 in seven innings for the Rock Cats.

The Fightin Phils (61-79) will play their next-to-last game of the season on Sunday at New Britain at 6:35pm.
