Fox stays hot, leads Fightin Phils past Akron

Jake Fox continued his scorching stretch Saturday night, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs in the Fightin Phils 6-3 win over Akron in Baseballtown.

Fox is now hitting .400 with 18 RBIs over his last 10 games.

He has 44 RBIs in 40 games with Reading, and 90 RBIs between his time in Reading and the Mexican League this year.

Kelly Dugan added two RBIs for the Fightin Phils, and K.C. Serna hit his first home run in a Reading uniform.

Hoby Milner (6-5, 4.60) allowed one run over six solid innings to earn the win on the mound.

The Fightin Phils (43-60) will look for the series win over the RubberDucks when they wrap up their series on Sunday at 1:35pm at FirstEnergy Stadium.
