Fox stays hot, leads Fightin Phils past Erie

Jake Fox launched two more home runs Tuesday night, leading the Reading Fightin Phils to a 9-3 win at the Erie Sea Wolves.

Fox finished the night with two homers, a double, and six RBIs. 

He now has 13 home runs since his promotion to Reading, and 26 overall this year.

Kelly Dugan added two hits, an RBI, and three runs scored for the Fightin Phils.

Chris Bootcheck (2-2, 6.00) pitched seven solid innings to earn the win on the mound.

Reading (42-58) will close out their series in Erie on Wednesday at 12:05pm.
