Kratz goes hitless as Fightin Phils fall

Erik Kratz went 0-for-4 in a rehab appearance in Reading Saturday night, and the Fightin Phils fell 6-3 to New Hampshire at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Kratz was continuing his rehab from a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Anthony Hewitt hit a two-run home run and Derek Mitchell had an RBI single to supply the offense for the Fightin Phils.

Hector Neris (3-4, 5.37) took the loss on the mound for Reading.

The Fightin Phils (38-53) will wrap up their series with the Fisher Cats on Sunday at 1:35pm in Baseballtown.
