Reading Fightin Phils

Senators blow by Fightin Phils, 10-3

The Reading Fightin Phils lost to the Harrisburg Senators 10-3 Saturday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Fightin Phils took a 2-0 lead after the first inning, but Harrisburg seized control after that.

Severino Gonzalez (2-1, 3.13) allowed just three runs in six innings, but took the loss for Reading.

Cesar Hernandez, Zach Collier, Cam Perkins, and Tommy Joseph all had two hits for the Fightin Phils.

Reading (9-5) will be off Easter Sunday before opening a three-game series with Richmond on Monday in Baseballtown.
