Phillies sign former MLB All-Star Sizemore

The IronPigs are about to get a nice boost to their lineup.

The Phillies announced on Tuesday that they have signed three-time Major League All-Star Grady Sizemore to a minor league deal.

Sizemore will report to Triple-A and play outfield for the IronPigs.

Sizemore was released by the Red Sox earlier this year after Shane Victorino came back from the disabled list.

He bats from the left side and can play all three outfield positions.

Sizemore reportedly has an opt-out clause in his contract for July, though the exact date is unknown.
